Battle of Oriskany

The Battle of Oriskany struck on Wednesday, August 6, 1777, at the location of Oriskany, New York.  How it all started was how the fight for a continent of New England and how Howe was compelled to give it up.  And it was heard from the lines of Boston to the middle of Chesapeake from Montreal and even to Charleston.  Montgomery’s invasion of Canada, although St. John’s and Montreal were taken, failed before Quebec.  And retreat of the American forces gave Burgoyne the base for his campaign.  And all ended up in the Battle of Oriskany, with the U.S. Colonies and Great Britain fighting for their victory.  As a result, many lives were lost.  It also had a great remembrance because of the significant engagement of the Saratoga Campaign.  And, also, the logic of the Battle of Oriskany was settled by the war.  But when it all ended, Great Britain was the victor, as Chief Joseph Brant, John Butler and Sir John Johnson were all commanders at the time Britain won, with 95 killed and 57 wounded on Great Britain’s side.  And Nicholas Herkimer was commander for the U.S. Colonies.  385 were killed, and 50 were wounded on the U.S. Colonies’ side.

It all started in the Battle of Oriskany and all ended with Great Britain as the victor.

2017

Hi 2017, I have a few goals I want to get done before the year is over, and it has a name… It is called a resolution, and if you’re not familiar with the word , don’t be discouraged! It’s a goal you set for your self when New Year’s decides to come to town! I have decided to set a goal of to become a Student Ambassador for my class so I can help out more. Because I love the feeling a seeing others smile of when they get help. Also, I would just love to get honorable mention  of making A+ all year around so I’ll try to work extra, extra, extra hard to make all A+’s. Also one more big, giant thing that I hope for… and it is I hope your resolutions come about just like I hope for mine! Have an EXCELLENT 2017!!!!!

Remembrance Day

World War II: On a day of Sunday the 7 and the year of 1941 was a tragic and an awful day for many innocent people and our fighting machines, the military. Many people perished. It all started on a Sunday while many sailors and military men and women were asleep. It came as a surprise when two men had awoken to an alert of a radar that had just got a sighting of planes going toward them. What Americans across the world didn’t know was the Japanese was in America and… The Japanese Was Attacking Pearl Harbor. The end result was very devastating but didn’t make us fall. Many once again perished and gave many soldier families a rallying cry and brought them through World War II. “Remember Pearl Harbor”. Also the attack that led to the U.S.A’s freedom!

Book Report of The Kid Who Ran for President

This book is about a 12 year old boy who goes by Judson Moon. His friend Lane, who comes up with the idea for a kid to run for President helps Judson run, and teaches him all about how and to be a great President. When Judson started running he only thought it was a joke, but one by one each day it became less funny to him. Some of his enemies, friends, and even his first babe was Arthur Krantz, a JERK Moon mentions in the story, but he is Judson’s enemy. Krantz thinks Moon shouldn’t run because he thinks Judson knows nothing about Presidency. One of his best friends is June Syers, she is an elderly women. She has a disease, she turns out as Moon’s Vice President. Now moving on to Moon’s First Babe, (A.K.A) the First Lady, her name is Chelsea, when Moon and Chelsea met they barley knew each other. Later on in the story he gets interviews, microphones in his face, and even turns out not so popular to super famous. He gets written about in tons of papers and got on stage alot. He is an Independent and he either lost or won the election and he… CAN’T TELL YOU, YOU’LL HAVE TO READ THIS AWESOME BOOK FIRST!!!
